HAVU didn’t stop there, and continued its activities by donating 30 white canes and three pairs
of crotches worth over a million FCFA to disabled men and women in the Menoua region, while
setting itself the objective of triggering concrete actions for the empowerment and selfsufficiency of disabled people. For example, supporting two viable disabled people who have
undergone training in areas such as agriculture and the production of soap, detergents and
bleach, to serve as role models for the next edition of the International Day of Disabled Persons
(photo 9, 10 and 11).
