Delivery of school supplies to 10 families internally displaced by the Anglophone crisis in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon

During the month of September 2023, two aid initiatives were carried out. Firstly, in the West
region, HAVU mobilized in the FOTO district of Dschang to hand out school supplies to
internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the crisis in the North-West and South-West regions
of Cameroon. 20 bags were donated, along with teaching materials, to 10 families present for
this initiative (Photo 4 and 5). The aim of the initiative was to provide a healthy, barrier-free
education for vulnerable children in the crisis.

The second initiative took place in the subdivision of Djoum, in the southern region of
Cameroon, where school equipment was donated to 20 schoolchildren from the village of
Ando’o. Despite the difficult conditions in which they study, their hard-working teacher, Mr.
Mebara Leonard Elvis, always takes it upon himself to go the extra mile to properly educate his
pupils. Acknowledging this dedication, HAVU, through its promoter Pr. TCHAMBA, has not
